trust sump extension and baffle kit. whole job is about £400 for the parts and welding.

adds 1.5 litres capacity of oil and a better baffle to help prevent oil starvation, the biggest killer of rbs so im told.

i would defo get a greedy/jun oil pump aswell if it hasnt already.

just from talking to tweenie he doesnt rate the standard or n1 pumps. i was lucky engine had jun oil pump and rob said its as new and can happily be used again. i would of paid £1000 though for a greedy for peace of mind had it been knackered.

Not heard of that tbh....

Its usually the rings, pistons or bearings that give up.

after seeing how bad my crank was im amazed it held 2 bar hot idle oil pressure im certain a standard pump wouldnt off. it was proper fooked mate not grindable well past it so thats proof for me how good these uprated pumps are, my turbos seem good might of been a different story with standard pump.

i remember posting on here reosonable oil pressure, no smoke and just a faint noise and that was with a fubared crank !
