Default Cosworth clutch...??

Hi...just want to ask what sort of clutch you are running on your Cossies...?

I currently run a AP 6 paddle with std cover and bearing....its as light as a std witch is fine, but I dont like the feel as its difficult when starting from standstil...there is a lot of "judder" at first...but when going it seems fine....SO I have decided to try and find a better one...hopefully

Car is a 2wd Sapp. Cosworth running siemens 55', T-34, MSD chip and so on....

please advice.....

IF it's juddering with that set up then there IS other issues going on, I know plenty of Cossie's running that and ALL are fine!

as said was the fly wheel re-faced as this could be the problem!

Hi...no it was not refaced,...as it was brand new from a Ford Dealer so I did not think that I needed it .....???

Any chance that the company who put the engine/clutch together, could have done it wrong ?

what else could be a problem..?

if it was a brand new fly wheel there shouldn't be a problem there, did they check/change the spiggot bearing??

I've known of a couple of 2 w/d's that the 4x bolts that hold the bell hsing to the box to be lose and that has caused a slight judder/vibration!

regarding the garage fitting it wrong cant see it tbh!

try another cable 1st as that's the cheapest option!

I have the same set up and its fine.

ALL paddle clutches will judder due to the paddles and the way they grip the flywheel.

You can really slip a paddle clutch so its something that you need to get used to.

I am also looking for a 6-paddle clutchplate and std cover myself.....so could do a p/x if your clutchplate is still in good condition.

Cheers
