Default heater fan help?

ive got a ford escort cabriolet and the blowers on my heater fan has stopped working i turned it round to the fastest setting and its as tho the fans not spinnin or sumthing? any ideas?

if itdoes not work on any speed setting i would say its the motor itself if she works only on full speed would say its the resistor

Check the fuse first, then the earth, then unplug and confirm the fan motor is ok by supplying seperate live to it.

where is the motor cos i aint got a clue on this car? checked the fuses and nothing is wrong with them

I'm pretty sure on your car it is on the scuttle area.
At the rear of the engine bay there will be a firewall, basically a tin plate affair blocking off the area at the back of the engine bay, directly under the wipers and where the air goes through the vents to get sucked into the heater motor.
There will be a few bits of plastic etc normally to remove but it will be there.
