Lol finally bought it, its a mk4 escort 1.1, being used daily cause its economical, and only has 60,000 on the clock! it needs a bonnet two indicators foglights and some light bodywork! u can even hear the engine running! Im chuffed lol

looks like a good project mate i hope your slam panel won't need pulling out too it looks pushed back a little, but atleast with your weather you have a bit more time to sort out the rust issues

my mate had one of them just like that but in mint (i mean mint, showroom condition)

he rolled it 4 times into a field, such a shame

any plans for yours mate? apart from a tidy up? a 1.8 zetec would go nice in there and would proberbly be nearly as economical as the 1.1 as daft as it sounds

well i think just a tidy up mate, and shift my alloys on my favorit on this. i'm wanting a respray lol.

for the engine, i want to keep it, even for insurance and license, because with the 1.8 it will be expensive.

its a bit of a false economy buying small engined cars imo, as you will rinse the fuck out of it to make it go anywhere, therefore using a lot more fuel

well phoned my mechanic, told me to use silkolene, as i asked him for castrol and told me that it makes sudge so no good. I wont be buying cheap oil cause I want to look after her properly.
