Hi guys i have just picked my escort cosworth up from the pain shop.

the car has been off the road for a year i picked it up today drove it back and it never had full power thought it was cause the fuel was low just top up wth fuel and its splutering and poping on tick ova back fireing reving up down and wun drive

does anyone know what it could be as never had this problem when it whent over there,

If the fuels a year old, apart from the fresh this needs changing, I would also change the fuel filter, clean the plugs etc, once warm give it a full service.

yep as above really, fuel or plugs would be my guess, cossies are good like that, you do one thing and then something else starts to occur that makes you wonder if the thing you've just done has caused it. lol.
