Surely cutting lines into the chamber/head would just cause fuel to condense in those grooves and burn incompletely due to lack of air, which would fill them with carbon deposits fairly quickly? Or is the idea to encourage the flow of mixture out from the squish area into the combustion chamber proper?

think the general idea is more suited to n/a apllications ,but im sure there are exceptions!!!

think the general idea is to disrupt the airflow inside the comb chamber ,which in turn atomises the fuel/air mixture more efficiently which aids economy and performance .........
would also imagine it will lower c/r ratio slightly too

im sure thats it really im sure someone will know more than myself and will post but thats the general jist

some good info here mate ,cant take the credit though as my good mate google helped lol

hmm... personally, if the gains are in terms of atomisation, i'd rather spec a more appropriate injector than add stress points to the head....
