Default Electrical people possible wiring issue...

ive got a problem with a cossie, the idle valve stays open all the time as soon as you start it hot or cold ive tryed the valve on another car and it works fine, ive just fitted a l8 ecu to a 2wd car and since then its been like it ive tryed swapping the wires back on the tps and another map sensor and no difference also when you touch the throttle the amal valve clicks on then clicks off when you close the throttle.

any helpers?

check the wiring, and its calibration needs to be checked before you go much further, also check its sweep,

common issus are broken wires, shorted wires, broken plugs, knackered tps,

if the ecu sees an open throttle it will open the iscv, and an incorrectly set tps can make the amal and iscv go ape

ign on and test which pin is live at the iscv

then disconnect your ecu, and run a continuity check between the other pin and earth, shouldnt be grounded, if it is it has a dead short in the loom.
