Laptop battery charges?
I recently managed to snap the pin into which goes your mains power supply/battery charger on my dads laptop I had the connection fixed but the company who fixed the laptop said when I did it it had knackered the mother board. I don't think the company was trying to pull the wool over my eyes as it was a no fix no pay, only parts to pay for. The laptop works fine on what power the battery it has left. Can you buy universal battery chargers. As my dad only uses the laptop 3 or 4 weeks a year when on holiday, so he see's no point buying another laptop. Cheers

So is it the motherboard in the laptop thats broken or the circuit board inside the power brick to the charger?
If it is the mother board on the laptop thats broken then im afraid if the company that you sent it to for repair cant fix it then its only fit for the bin, if however you have managed to break one of the pins off in the charger then you need one of these,
