Its happened to me to!
The nasty ass Rword came to my work today and fucked us! got told a 1:30 in a all employee meeting and by 2, I was having a fag in the carpark!
now I know how how everyone else out there feels, and it aint good!, but I really feel for all the lads with kids and morgages!
Atleast my only out going is the motor, and il do anything to keep her, but may have to come to it!

I used to work for a engine remanafacting fortory mainly working for ford, landrover and jag, but the company has lost so much money in the last 6 months, its a huge figure.

sideways all the way!
call me daft but i thuoght things were getting slightly better,a haulage firm went down local to us last week but thats all for months,feel for the poor blokes out of work,running 90 wagons down to 12,78 lads and more fitters out of work.

I've been bouncing from job to job since Novemeber when Sage software started bining people. I'm making half what I did last year. Sucks!
Look at it as an opportunity if you can. New job on the horizon, some new friends at work. Different commute. Change is good but only if you are out of work a short time.
Start looking now!

no how you feel been in the situ for a couple of months now, i'v gotta go back into training before i can get back to where i left off 
and that'll be 18 months to 2 yrs

Yeah thats how I'm looking at it now, something new, but I really want to stay in something to do engines, but I dont have any paper work to show what I can do.
So I'm up the smelly river with no paddle on that one.
But hey after a smoke I'm not fust what Id, Im happy to turn my hands to anything to keep the car and seeing my girlfreind.
