Utter rubbish, like most of these things on the net!

I wish the RST could do the 1/4 mile times and the 0-60 times quoted.

But the RST has doesn the terminal speed calculated (100.3 mph @ Santa pod)

My calculated times:

Power at Flywheel (BHP) 200
Weight without Driver (KG) 987
Drive Type Front Wheel Drive (FWD)
Power To Weight Ratio (BHP/Ton) 205.89
0-60mph (Secs) 5.58
0-100mph (Secs) 13.89
60-100mph (Secs) 8.31
Quarter Mile (Secs) 13.98 @ 100.32 MPH
Drag Quarter Mile (Secs) 13.78 @ 102.14 MPH

Did one on my old S22.1ZVH and it was almost bang on

Power at Flywheel (BHP) 254
Weight without Driver (KG) 1200
Drive Type Front Wheel Drive (FWD)
Power To Weight Ratio (BHP/Ton) 215.06
0-60mph (Secs) 5.36 actually done a 5.2
0-100mph (Secs) 12.73 actually done a 12.06
60-100mph (Secs) 7.37
Quarter Mile (Secs) 13.71 @ 103.76 MPH actually done a 13.6 @ 108 MPH

Heres my cossy.......

Power at Flywheel (BHP) 400
Weight without Driver (KG) 1700
Drive Type Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)
Power To Weight Ratio (BHP/Ton) 239.07
0-60mph (Secs) 4.78 actually done a 4.8
0-100mph (Secs) 10.53
60-100mph (Secs) 5.75
Quarter Mile (Secs) 12.98 @ 111.03 MPH actually done a 13.5 @110

if they only use a peak power figure, it can't be accurate at all.

look at the torque curve of a n/a 2.0 producing say 220 bhp, and then look at one producing the same power with a turbo.

it also has nothing to do with wheelspin, suspension geometry, tyre width/compound......

fn, but pointless.

Mine wasnt that far out on Cos or Civic, but they must be quoting the best time you would ever get, with perfect launch etc etc.

my Rs turbo weighed 970 without driver, 1200!
