Default Returning licence to DVLA for points removal?

When doing this do you only send off the paper part of your licence or all of it?

Thanks in advance

it annoys me now that if you want them removing, you have to bloody pay. So even though youve got no points, your insurers can potentially give you higher premiums based on previous convictions

leave them on then when it comes to the 10 year "renewal" of your licence, they will remove them within the cost of the renewal

Don't forget to keep a copy before you post it - they are still removing entitlements and it's up to you to prove you had them if you want them reinstated.

Excellent advice, beat me to it, Motorcycle and HGV/LCV seems most affected to be "forgotten"
There is a FREE way of getting points taken off, just fill in new address details of a friend/relative etc, if points are out of date get taken off, then when the "new" address gets the license resend registering at your "old" address , that's all I've done and worked every time.

changing address is the easiest way to do it

but don't forget that they won't come off for 4 years and the insurance peeps will need to know about them for 5, or 11 if it's drink driving or insurance fraud

Insurers need to know is a unknown thing at the mo as it is still going through the courts, it being against the human rights act, of incriminating ones self, and ones right to silence.
