tbh i couldnt think of anyone better to do this.marks work is awesome and he is a perfectionist. as said it is a risk in this current climate but sometimes you have to take risks.
wish i could get trained properly to detail and open up for myself tbh but i couldnt risk not paying the mortgage.
i will no doubt at somepoint be letting mark loose on mine.but that once i have sorted other bits

John Taylor gave up because of all the grief in doing it , same as Alan patterson
To do this kind of work needs people with very very deep pockets
I have done a few rs500"s and it aint cheap
To do an underside resto will cost between 5 and 6k ( to winning faultless concourse spec ) and if anyone says it can be done for less then they aint doing it right
And how many people have that kind of wonga
I would say there is a gap in the market for a good RS specialist to do small restos upto 2,3 k etc and who can do mechanical repairs , but full blown resto"s no

Mark you get what you pay for ,
wait till you have your own unit to pay for
TAX / Rates / insurance / elecy etc etc
I have done quite a few now and they always work out roughly the same mate
And i mean no weld marks , Painted in 2k primer / sealed / painted in 2k
No selly painted parts etc
If you can do a Faultless resto for less mate the what you waiting for , go for it

i say go for it, if you don't then you will never know.......
there is a risk with walking out the front door these days, just depends how much of a risk you wanna take, and usually, the bigger the risk, the better the reward......!!
i keep meaning to bob down mark, messaged you on escortrscosworth.com, just not had the time.......
and i would defo be banging on the door for a job, as this is what i would love to do, and learn from the best
good luck!

im not going to go on,but do you honestly think id make up my experiance with getting ripped off?
what would be the point?
of course his garage will be doing ok,hes just doing run of the mill stuff now,and probably got a proper mechanic working for him
i should of taken him to trading standards for the bogus shit he done or DIDINT do that he charged me for on my car
i know a guy thats a spark same as myself, but hes rough as fuk,i mean really rough, someone youd never want in your house
he now owns his own company, has done for a few years and doing very well,he has 4 sparks working for him, probably all good guys,do good jobs
so would you trust the company knowing the boss is dodgy as
or go with it cause the staff are ok?
