Can i claim tyo be a 500 owner if i buy one???

On a serious note, not a big fan of the normal 500, but when i saw the Abarth model i absolutely loved it, now i've seen this one that Schnorr have done i think it'd be a brilliant car.

1035kg and 200bhp isnt really anything special tbh. Especially when you consider that the base car is £13605 and the upgrades are 8270 Euros, so £7255 making it a 21k car. thats astra vxr, focus St money and you wont look like a tit!

Well I've got an Abarth 500 Essesse and its a good little car, bar the horrid gearshift. Not blisteringly quick but it's plenty quick enough and on a recent run down to London and Back at 80-90MPH it returned 42MPG. They arent cheap though the Essesse was £18k but it's a company car so don't care.

That 200BHP model does look cool though.

Then you'll be driving a car that about 3 zillion other people own. I know it's a fiat but i think it's cool, it is a bit expensive though, but defo a good 2nd hand buy in a year or so, bet it'd be fun on a track.

Oh BTW i did read something alarming on one of those pistonheads comments that the gearbox is actually not suitable for the torque output on the SS model, thats kind of worrying.

I don't know if it's just exagerated by the B&M in my Escort I'm used to but it just feels long to throw and notchy.

But I agree, there aren't many of them about and they certianly get attention. I'll run the 200BHP conversion past the boss man

Awesome little cars - one of the lads at work as the Abarth Essesse and it is rather funky - wouldn't mind a go in it if I can catch him on the same shift as me
