ok, I bought some alloys for my bmw but they have a big off set but i like them and am keeping them so,
The rear ones could probably clear the arches if i have the rear rolled.
But the front ones stick out a bit and with some arch rolling and i am thinking of changing the tyres from 235 to 205 or 215 stretching the tyres i know all about the tyre stretcing row but its all i can think of atm.
here a pic.

Don't forget that the lower the offset the further out they will be. So you need a higher offset.
You will never be able to machine enough off them to make them fit properly, can't see the ol' bill liking them either.
Looks like your only option is to find a different set of wheels that fit your car properly

They look the same width all round anyway which looks a bit poo IMO. Can you not find too smaller wheels? Like 8.5 inch and a smaller lip? Would look MILES better aswell!
Failing that, run a 215/35 on them with big stretch.
