They will have to be free transfers dicko. sold keano in january for Ł12m, alonso this summer for Ł30m, plus a few of the fringe players that added up to around Ł5m, thats Ł47m overall. bought johnson for Ł18m. we bought aquilani for Ł20m, and that greek defender for Ł2m, so all in all, rafa has made Ł47m in sales since january, spent Ł40m on new players, and theres no money left apparently. so gillett and hicks havnt given rafa ANY money to spend this summer, and have pocketed Ł7m of the money he made from selling players.


Now im the first one to have a go at rafa over his formations and tactics, but when he doesnt get a transfer kitty, he cant improve the team.

 

Only two teams have a bigger net spend than Liverpool in the Rafa years and both play in a shade of blue! The fat waiter is utterly useless with money.

 

Look at the squad depth liverpool had when Rafa took over, there was none it was utter shit caused by years in the doldrums and tbh its still pretty fucking average.
