Default BBC HD

I see War of the Worlds is on tonight, so why would the BBC not show this in HD? Seems strange to me.

A 2005 Blockbuster film would have been done in HD so that would not have been a problem.

Ginge if you cant tell the difference you need to get a new TV I have not exactly got a great one but the difference is amazing.
