Can see that WHITE HELMET coming in very handy when your falling 500ft at 70m.p.h towards the concrete floor.

they went with climbing gear i.e ropes, harnesses and crap i'm quite sure they had themselves secured to the frame work as they went up
helmets are to stop them hitting there heads if they where to slip and drop till the rope went taught

No but their harnesses and climbing gear will help prevent that

Yeah i'd like to try it one day too, on 28DL there are loads of crane climbs etc, the views are fantastic, would be great for some night time photography too!

Awesome stuff. As usual with 28dl superb pics. I've been to the top of the viewing platform, a floor above the walk of faith, the highest point accessible by joe public, i was bricking it but i had to do it so absolute respect to these boys.
