not sparking ???

i have a mk4 escort witch origanly had a 1.1 x-flow in with the edis system,ive now got a 2l zetec in it, used the zetec coil pack and linked it up to the original conection and ive conected the flywheel sensor .ive been wondering today why it would not start so today , witch i should have cheched weeks ago i looked to se if it had any spark, but it didnt, anyone have any suggestions?

Have you checked for 12v power to the EDIS module? Cant rem which pin it is sorry

im just wondering wethere it is an edis system tbh. is black but the front is red and it ses motorcraft or somethink on it,same shape as all the onther edis systems i have seen apart from thay have all been black
