my mates got an N97 and it's got a thingy on it so that it will transmit stuff through the radio on some frequency (it comes up as nokia on the rds )

any other phones got this? or is it an add on for some of them?

i'm fine as i've got the ipod thingy in the van but it's got me thinking

i think the m96 has got it too, and a couple of other nokia's

not sure about other makes though i bet the iphone could with an application.

my phones got a menu longer than the computer so sod looking for it there if someone can tell me on the internet

Do you have the N96? as ive got the slightly older version (n95 8GB) and thats got an RDS radio

The menu system should be similar to mine, this is how i get to mine..................

Menu key to bring up main menu, select "music" then in my screen ive got music player, music store, podcasting, RADIO

Just remember you need the ear phones plugged in for it to work as they double up as the ariel.

Lg Arena also has an FM Transmitter and a few of the newer phones also.

sony ericssons you can buy a fm transmitter for them, mmr-70 but you can buy them for most phones now. I dont know of any that have them built in. but then i'm not that clued up on new phones anymore

he means a built in fm transmitter, so you can tune ya car radio into ya phones music mate
