Is anyone using this software? If so, what are your thoughts? It looks good to me but it's not cheap at £200+

I've tried PM'ing Flux Capacitor regarding his 'free' application but no reply

Cheers!

Neil.

Neil, usb converter slows the softwear down to much,we have tried this at work with our own vci,and a usb converter, and it doesnt work, thats the main reason i havnt bought it yet,as i cant really afford anew laptop at same time

i have just bought this, havent used it just yet because im waiting for the adapter for the cable.
you can get a pcmcia serial adapter off ebay for £10
ive just got a new laptop to so will have plenty to play with.

i got bored waiting for simon/flux capacitor. he was supposed to sort me out a copy of his because he used my ecu to test it on. he even text me one day saying he had stuck a copy in the post and it would be with me the next day. that was 4/5 weeks ago and after me asking him a few times it still hasnt arrived.

i will post how i find it in a couple of days once i get a chance to play with it.

i could always bring my laptop to some meets and for say £10 do diagnostics/sensor readings?

Are you getting a screen full of ERROR?
That normally means you have a connection problem or your serial port is not working mate.

Followed everything that the FAQ said on RPs site that was of relavence. I dont get the error filling the boxes, i just get odd values. 0 for RPM -55 for coolant and air charge etc.

I had the error messages before i changed the baud rate as i am using a PCMCIA rs232 adaptor
