I go two to three times a year, the old Ford's on the streets have all but gone now, but a lot are still hidden away.
You just have to know when to go to Hal-Far or a club meeting for hundreds of awesome Ford's to suddenly come out of their garages.

i was actually there when this did a 9.2 run...is mad because the driver crashed the day before in his escort mk1 cosworth....im maltese myself an i think fords is in our blood cells...lol....anyways every thursday they open halfar for all the street cars,its preety fun to watch but id much prefer to be in my cozzie going up the track........i would recomended any ford fan to go out their....

he was running mickey thompson dot marked but sort of a cheater slick but road legal,it runs 9inch mustang rear end built by strange,Chris who owns the car also still has the quickest time for a cossie powered car on race fuel,which is a 7.4 in his Mk1 escort as mentioned he crashed it on the night event,he has now put the engine out of the escort in the 3dr and is hoping to run 8.5 on slicks,the car has full trim glass steel panels etc pretty impresive

yes Matt he has a few cars,chris nickname kalanc has rs500 which is his dads but he drives it runs 10.8,he has escort cosworth full trim runs 10.1 now the new sierra plus the drag escort which runs 7s,he also has top fuel dragster and is building a cosworth powered dragster lol,plus a few other high performance road cars one being dodge viper,nice guy nice family
