Does anybody know if n97 will be going onto O2 and when?

Buyiing direct from o2 probably never as it's close competition for the iphone. You can however order it from some online places on an o2 tariff.

Saw it compared against the iphone and something else on the gadget show the other night, even though the camera isn't as good, the iphone won hands down, if it were my money i'd steer clear of the n97! The n96 is shockingly bad, so I can't see how they would have turned the n97 around....

N97 is shockingly bad hence o2 not supporting them.. nothing to do with the iphone as blackberrys offer more of a competition to them and o2 do the curve and the storm..

carphone warehouse would be your best bet for an n97 on o2 but again software scruteneering has failed over and over so we have a shed load of them in warehouse going no where

I've got one and it's not as bad as people make out. Yeah it's no iphone but it works well imo..

I've got an n97 & love it. I've also got a 160gb ipod classic & hate that piece of shite. Problem with apple is the sofware is crap. Hate having to use i tunes to transfer music etc. I just want to drag & drop. Also ipods dont support wma

sending my N97 back as it looks too flimsy (plus i want to get away from 3...) getting the new HTC hero instead as an I phone is too expensive!!!

also, played with both of them in store and the N97 is a bit clunky in the movement and no-where near as slick as either the I phone or HTC...

yeh, i saw it after i had played with them and i do agree with them about the N97. key pad is nice, and brilliant with big fingers like mine, just a shame the touch screen is crap!

try the samsung jet ... seriously worth looking at i am a nokia man through and through but this had me thinking ... o2 wont use n97 atm due to serious issues with firmware .. and doubt if they will as by the time they get it sorted out i think there might be somethng else around
