i thought the lettering FMC was a ford thing.. i.e their museum cars ?
Still, if it's in immaculate condition, with that low mileage, it'll be worth an absolute fucking fortune !

cant find any details for that vehicle, sounds like BS really.
it would have had miles before it went to tickford then about another 50 or s60 odd miles so that would mean its only done a few miles at best

As far as I know there's no pics appeared yet, but I'm at work so I can't see them anyway. I'll have another look when i get home.
Post doesn't
say much else, but I bet it’s in a ford museum somewhere judging by the plate (if it’s true), these are the kind of cars you always hear about someone mates, uncles, dad’s dog owning, but never seem to appear. I hope this one does.

REALLY
Sorry I'm trying to sound shocked that yet another fabled low milage car may actually be a complete fabrication. How long till the next one is found....
I'll keep an eye on the post just to see if I'm proved wrong, I'd certainly like to be.

All the d plate 500s were press or evaluation cars so would have been first registered and run by Ford, I dont recall any using an fmc plate and would have had largish miles on them when sold on
Unless the owner was a Fred Mctavish and he lived at no 660 the plates hardly special
Pound to a penny its another wild goose chase, I doubt its a standard 3dr as very few of them come up with low miles as they were used from day 1 - it tends to be 500s that were stashed away
I would love to be proved wrong though

The problem is that most people who don't know their cars refer to the 3 door as an rs500 every time my mate sees a 3 door he tells me he's seen an rs500 It might simply be a 3 door in this case lol

Tap in the plate. It does not exist.

And my RS500, build no 482 with 10,000 miles on the clock may be leaving these shores for the Med shortly; at least if it goes the climate will be good to it, I'v enever known so much rain and shite on the roads preventing a car being used...

Yeah, you're right, couldn't agree more, but I live on a farm.....
Spent a couple of hours the other day under the arches with my soft brush, various cleaning agents etc etc.
Lovely thought, up to your elbows in cow shit, cos Farmer Boo don't was his wheels off, tha'knows.
Mine isn't a trailer quenn, but it's damn fine, and I just can't bring myself to mucky it up.
My wife took me out in it the other day, up to the Cat &Fiddle; set off, weather ace, got there, throwing it down - go figure, 'specially as it's not that far from where we live.
