A mate of mine is well into 205 GTi's, and works from home doing all kinds of mad things to them. Anyway, a few years back he had a really nice one with a Mi16 engine on twin Webbers with NOS, a properly done stripped out road legal track car. He decided to take it off the road and told everyone he was going to put two 3.0 V6 engines in it! Of course we all laughed, and it's all been a bit quiet from him since then, until i went to see him the other night. He's only gone and bloody done it! Proper Dimma kit to house the wider track, spaceframed rear, rose jointed suspension, and ALL done by himself. I know this ain't a Pug forum, but it just goes to show, its always the quiet ones you have to watch out for! I'll try and get some pics up when i get chance

Only problem is, means i gotta do somethin daft now, i hate being out-done.............

I got all excited when I read the thread title!!! I thought 6 litre LS2 powered 4x4 205gti... As said I dont do twin engined cars, can be fast in a straight line though..

Thats what I was hoping for too, LS2 on a Skyline box in a 205.

Not yet another twin engine car, its been done to death and never works well.

i should imagine it'd bloody go some down the 1/4, but i can't imagine it'd be that nice around the track with the extra weight added

Its the fact the two engines are each doing their own thing that is the problem not the weight.

People always call twin engined cars 4wd, they arent, they are 2 * 2wd

Thats not an M3 engine though, It's two v-twin bike engines mated up, crazy little V12 in the back.

a good friend of mine has just about finished his Evo powered 205...

only running a mild tune, but even with 300bhp, i did have a pic somewhere but i cant find it atm
