Default Brooklands capri question

for the capri guru's ive been offered a sound example of a 280 brooklands capri which a few years ago was a show car and is still in good nick apart from the mirror has been damaged and minor paintwork.
ive been offered it for 3k off a friend of the family should i snap his arm off

Do I remember right that the "Brooklands" bit only refers to the colour?

I seem to have heard it was a 2.8i Injection with different alloys and a special colour paint job wasn't it?

The 280 is the last of the line had bigger wheels and had a full leather interior,instead of half leather and came in brooklands green
