Default unsure of which head to use

hello all!
i've got a 4x4 cossie but the bottom end is shot. i,ve just bought a engine from a 2wd with a 200 block but a 2wd head. im unsure of wether to just run the 2wd head or put my 4x4 one on!
what do you people think?
if i run the 2wd will everything else change over? will the compression ratio be ok??

any help will be great as i've spent about a hour looking on the search and my head is a mess!! lol

If the engine is complete just use it and bolt your bits on.

Look at the 2wd head, if it ends in CA it is one of the better heads to have.

not ideal IF his cr ends up different from what his software is mapped for tho....

ideally you need to calculate your new cr, and get your software modified to suit

if i was to use the head would i be able to use the 4x4 stat housing as the head only has 2 bolt holes or would i have to use the 2wd one and pipe it in like the 2wd??
