Default Home DIY Electric welders

Anybody reccomend an electric welder or a full kit that i could use at home to practice with (never welded in my life before lol) and could maybe do some odd jobs that require welding like sills etc etc

Thanks folks

electric?? DO you mean MIG or old style ARC with rods?

Halfords do cheapies like migmate 130/ 150 turbo. Good first welder to get the basic skills.

They come up on Ebay quite a lot as people upgrade and have no use for them.

Just make sure you get a good gas supplier, as people can sting you on this.
