Default Water in the Boot on my E46 BMW - Where is it coming from? help

I have a pool surrounding the battery on my E46 Saloon BMW.

Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone suggest where its coming from?

Thanks in Advance

I was thinking perhaps the vents as the "flooding" is localised to the battery area. lol

Is this a common fault?

I bet they say NO

No fault is a common fault if you ask a main dealer.

If life were only that simple. A dealer will never admit to a common design fault.

I work for a dealer & there have been a fair few with the rear lower vents leaking not seen one for a while but E46's arent in warranty now so we tend not to see as much of them now! but in answer to your question yes it is known to be common in alot of models

Yes mate they arent expensive might need to take the rear bumper off.. Its mostly road spray that gets in through them as well as water dripping in
