Got to go up their for business for 3 nights. Contemplating whether to take a mates crapper up there or take the Escort. Whats it like for car theft etc?

It has its rough areas like anyware,but i would say go up in a shitter,i wouldnt leave a escort cosworth? in any city not locked up in a garage

It's a shithole, there are loads of dodgy people that live in and around Preston. I would take a crapper!

Where abouts in Preston are you staying though?

its not bad. I've left both my cosworths parked up in town whilst in bars etc on a saturday night. No problems. I'd still use a different car tho

depends where you're staying but car crime isn't that big round here. It does happen but if you're in a decent enough area then you'll be fine.
