FAO Steve/Deano - Skyline peeps
Hiya mate couple of questions need answering 
My mate just bought a R33 (L plate) GTS now hes bought it knowing nothing about what boost etc its supposed to be running and has no real knowledge of them lol. Anyway its got a few bit on it like Zorst, Air filter and a Apexi FC commander boost controller thing that tells u stuff like boost, water temp, air meter, knock etc etc seems quite bling but doesnt know how to work it.
Anyway he said he was told its about 310-340bhp (wide range) what boost should it be running as std and then to run this type of power? And any ideas pressuming injectors etc are stock what the boost can be set to and what power it should be abouts?

I know but im trying to help a fellow Ford nut out who also owns a concours RS16i

Its a GTST then, GTS are non turbo.
Power FC isnt a boost controller or anything, its a full-bore complicated engine managment system, lol.
For 300+bhp youl need a non std turbo.
Actually who cares, GTSTs are ghey and this is PassionFord/GTR/SX, not PassionGayGTST
www.skylineowners.co.uk is your best bet as they all GTST bummers there

LOL fook i hope i havent fooked anything up on that controller as i was messing with it today
Whats the most out of std engine then Steve? with different turbo etc. Though it looked like still had stock cooler on there.

Steve he would be able to control boost from the PFC Hand commander if it has the boost controller fitted in the bay 
Rhys for about 310HP he would need about 1bar boost of his PFC and with the Filter and zorst thats probably what hes got

Stock cooler and turbo, 300 is your really lucky, std cooler is a tiny lil wing mounted pos.
Wanna be careful with powerFC mate, it controls the lot, fucking about with settings is bound to end in a bang.
Std engine can take 500+ with the right bits bolted to the outside, none of which he seems to have

Controll the boost from instide the car, cool will tell him to source some instructions for that controller then.

Ah cool think its std but not sure as couldnt really look at front of car as was parked up tight to another. Was looking through the settings but didnt alter anything imagine u have to go into another setting thing to alter stuff on it anyway. Looked sweet though with the little controller in the car.

1 bar will NOT be a real 310bhp on a std cooler n turbo on a GTST, not a prayer, sorry. Get it on the rollers.
Si- On here a lot cause i love cossies, and most tech questions i need to know arnt skyline specific so best off here as they "generally" stuck up goons who dont know much about tuning.
