we are now RS-less
for the first time in years our household now dosn't own a single RS...
it feels a bit wierd but relieving at the same time,, a year or so of 'normal' cars
if we fancy it next year we may get another mk1 focus RS, maybe a mk 2!

Carlo, Phil (Boschman, IMA Racing etc) bought it, it all fell in quite nicely, i was fed up waiting for it to sell so arranged to buy another car, that was finalised Wednesday, Phil called Wednesday night to say he'd have the escort, i picked the new car up Thursday morning & dropped the escort off to Phil that night.

i can't imagine the money we've spent on cars over the years but we've always enjoyed them, as a couple then as a family from when we had our first son, the 2 boys have been in some cool cars
Carlo, Phil was pretty cool about the escort, he wanted it as an every day car, as i seem to do, i probably described it worse that it was on the phone, when i got to Phil it was dark but he seemed pleased with with he could see,, he posted on escos.com that he was happy aswell.
he done a bit of homework on the car & spoke to NMS, it seems the car didn't have a basic engine build, it had a new block, crank, pistons etc with the ported head, so knowing that Phil knows at worst (or if he gets bored) it will break for good money.

you never let that one go did you Mark
problem is when you have a good motor, if you sell it & but it back a few years later, as much as you wanted it back it seems a disapointment after a couple of weeks
out of all my old cars, if i could have 1 back it would be the black saff.
