On the transit.org forum this has been asked many times and the answer seems to be 60 on the motorway, as the vehicle is not based on a car derived chassis and is 2ton+ capacity.
Best to check with the DVLA just to be sure, but its not easy to find on their site either!

that logic only applies to a roads where the transit is not a van derived from a car chassis like the vx combo is (it's a corsa) but you can get away with it in a fiesta van as it's based on a fiesta
when you go up a weight category to the likes of the 3.5-7.5 ton classes, that's when there is proper confusion on the motorways

It's 100% 70, only hgv's that are 60, unless it's a non hgv which is towing.
What you state means it's 50/60/70 as dojj has said.

Restricted yes, but ALLOWED legally to do 70
For example up to weight and downhill out of gear.
Have the older ones been retro fitted limiters now then?
Load of wank, all lorries and a lot of vans all limited to same speed, should be 2 mph between the types; feel a right twat when I drive the works merc van and crawl past a wagon at 1/10th mph faster with people up my arse thinking I'm some kind of cunt for not putting my toe down

See why they hired you lol.
An advantage to having an older one then; like the old P reg volvos we had, turn the key back a bit and lose the speed limiter
No ones found a way on the 53 plate ones

Luckily when I got pulled in one of the wrecks I had they were more concerned with the operators licence number, was lowest they'd seen...

Yearly test only checks k factor reads same as sticker, doesnt test it is corect for speed on road,ie k factor could be doing 95 kmh but only showing 89 kmh on head, and k factor machine read same as sticker,if dill switches are done right so a point less test, just like the limiter sticker and the new wide angle declaration letter

yeah k factor matches caliberation plaque,
and we check limiter cut speed ,
tacho must be within 5 kph of the caliberation speed, we use the set k factor to determine this
what a farce that mirror form is pmsl

It's fookin' 70!
There's no doubt about it, it's 70, as is an SWB Transit.
I hire an SWB Transit from a big hire place quite regularly and it's got a big sticker in the side window saying "Know Your Limits", and telling you what the speed limit is for that vehicle on each type of road, and on a motorway it's 70.
Anyone who tells you any differently is talking shit!

Try going across the severn bridge saying that, you've got no chance They escorted me back over to England as i refused to pay truck rate for a fooking corsa van, thats right it wasn't even the combo version
Probably didn't help when i mentioned I'd pay £100 to leave Wales and they should be paying me to enter lol

but it's the same price for the transit on the bridge and ferry but it's £( on the M6 toll
