thought lorry's were limited to 56 mph?
and coaches to 60 mph?
but connect is very much deffinitly a 70mph on the motorway, as is the transit, and are the sprinters etc

http://www.drivesafely.org/speed/speed-limits/

this makes matters even more confusing as it doens't actually tell you what the limits are

They are Dojj, but as I'm sure I wrote before, speed limit is 60.
If they do 57 downhill not breaking the law...

Think coaches limiters are set to 62?

Winds me up that, fuck knows how much a fully laden coach weighs, then there's up to 100 people on board; yet is allowed to fly past similar weight lorries with one or two blokes on.
I know the argument/reasoning why, but come on shitloads of people on those coaches if it crashed.

C4LLY Speed limits for 7.5 tone vehicles changed last year under eu law, depending on age of vehicle,ie post 2001 vehicles 3.5 gvw and above are limited to 85 kmh +or - 6 kmh ,but under demestic law they can do 70 mph.

heres an interesting fact

ALL transits are speed limiter exempt whatever the weight

doesnt mean they can do 70mph, but they dont have to be limited

there are a few types of vehicle like this, emmisions reasons aparently

Not interested in speed limiters, as the discussion has been speed limits.
