I've got a undated 20p, on both sides, is it really worth anything?

As far as im aware, its not the royal mint coughing up, its a coin collection agency call "the london mint"

if you look on ebay, buyers are paying upwards of 100 quid for them. but my advice seriously is to keep it. the longer you keep it the more it will be worth. but it has to be undated on both sides.

It would be very obvious what you had done though as the coins in question have a combination of front and back pattern that isnt found on any dated coin.
It would also be illegal if you deliberately vandalised currency.

rich they will keep them a few years and sell on for profit once the "hysteria" has calmed down and they are mostly out of circulation.

As said in a link, theres millions of coin collectors around the world so demand will exceed supply and hence price will go up. Not necessarily much but remember they offered to pay £50 a coin and already have 10000 of the coins and are hoping to get another 15000 so do the math, theres a good profit to be made!!

teh royal mail thing isnt strickly true, the place that will give you a nifty isnt the royal mint, its a private collection half posing as the mint that will then punt them out again

ebay it
dont get knocked for £50

No they havent already got 10,000 of them and 15,000 more coming clearly you havent read it very well.

They are encouraging people to sign upto a database submitting their data, wether they have a coin or not just in case they ever want to sell one.

Thats bollox, gotta be the nigerians on a massive bidding war scam!

The true value seems to be around £100 mark, even then there not selling there loads of them on ebay bin for just over £100 for example http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-Undate...d=p3286.c0.m14

so why bid thousands?
