Stu.....my only aim is to get the car to the end of the straight and record a MPH time ....This is my dilema though at what BHP i should aim for...unfortunately i dont want toi just do a certain MPH only cause i aint got enuff power.....i want to do a speed where i say..i dont think we need to go faster....BUT with the higher top speed comes more risk of blowing.

160mph...piss easy
170mph...easyish with 500bhp
180mph..fooking getting dodgy
190mph..the end is near

You say breaking Records??? well he still has the 0-60, 0-100, and Topspeed without Nos... so not doing too bad still is he Kev has obviously gone faster over the 1/4 but needed gas.

Seans car will be off the radar and VERY VERY fast upto 180 so I think Martin will NEED to break his OWN records in an attempt to try and keep up with Seans car which WILL be sooo mad

Don't forget though, once again Martin will be building a multi-purpose car with HUGE emphasis on being a Track Toy.. NOT a drag or topspeed car!

 

there's no doubt it will be awesome, but beat the topspeed record? i thought that he likes to build cars that are quick for the track, and the gearing necessary to get the topspeed record would maybe compromise that too much?

top speed aside the most complete track Escort Cos by a mile at this time it the Jenspeed Car ok it had a huge budget thrown at it and i dont know how much Martin or Sean have to spend But If Martin, Sean can build cars anywhere near or even better it will truely be a feat of engineering I hope they can suprise everyone with what they create
