just out of curiousity, how did the battery police manage to get a look at it?

usually if you get pulled they don't look under the bonnet, or was the bonnet open ?

if they look in my engine bay, i'm getting jailed

Drill a hole right through it, through the battery tray and get a really long bolt and some nice big washers Job done

i have put a transit battery in my Cab.. its held down mainly by sticko-flex! and a great big bolt using the original mount thing. i just drilled a new hole into the battery tray... covered the bolt in stick-o-flex and tightened it down!
