It'll need to do more than a double ton to worry Rods record.
I think theres.......one or two MAD customer cars that could probably crack 200 as they are, maybe its just some of them having a crack at it??

Have no idea but 2 possibilities. PF are very much in bed with Tommy Field & Dave now works for Mountune so i guess it could be one of those.
Topspeed is like waiting for a bus, nothing for ages then 3 in a row. Been waiting for 5 years with everyone saying that noone but noone gives a f**k about the Topspeed record then within the last couple of months im going to be humped by a Mondeo, blitzed by a Focus & now this PF Special

Seriously wish them well, but its easy to talk about not so easy to do

.ceartanly massive respect to any one attemting it but to say and i quote "but trust me this saff is going to ruin that top speed record " is a monumental (spl) claim to make especially agaisnt your self mate.

every single 1mph is like taking half a second off your 0-60 time
I'm sure chip will have a better example than that but you get what I mean!!

nooo, what i meant was, .1 of a mph could simply be a calibration issue on the GPS software they use on it and don't give me the 'its the top of the range software' speach, cos you know just as well as i do, they still fuck up occasionally !

The fastest i've been is 135mph (speedo rather than gps so probably wrong). That was in his Bmw 325 - on the M5, i wasn't particularly phased by it as i didn't realise we were doing that speed until my bro chuckled at a white volvo trying to keep up.. 6 points, a fine and a ban later and my bro wasn't laughing so much..
i can't imagine what 200mph would feel like.. surely every mm of movement on the wheel would count at that sort of speed ?

What Saff can someone tell an oap whats going on cos at the mo im totally confused , ive heard or been told nought about any Saff or any 200mph attempt, where are you guys getting this info, is it serious because at the mo im assuming its a wind-up.
Best forget challengers touting Mondeos, Focii Escorts & concentrate on this as the Sierra RS record is the only one I claim or am interested in. If this is genuine it will be taken very seriously & i will be taking no chances of losing that record.

dont really think harv is into these record things plus his is wrc geared,prob 130/140 max.cant see him changing diffs and wheels to get a paper record but he has suprised me with the stuff hes spent time and money on before.....lol
