Ive spoke to the guy but he reckons that when he bought it he didnt hpi it so he doesnt know if its HPI clear/Stolen recovered/ written off etc etc...
I just dont know who would buy without hpiing first, I reckon hes trying his luck and could be cat D/C

Worth it incase you miss out, but i know what your saying, seems a bit odd. Even if it was Cat C/D, its cheap enough and i cant see you losing money on it. Cat C/D is usually light damage anyway.
Why dont you buy Guzzlers Escos, thats under 10k?

Well he pulled it out the garage, Straight away i notice it dont have a sunroof, nsf corner wing and inner wing is full of fibreglass/filler. under the rear light drivers side has taken a hit, filler/rust comming through. Under the bonnet sits a cossie lump with a 4x4 cam belt cover, all the water/washer bottles are off a 1.3l . No abs . wings have been replaced at some point and not done very well either , i wouldnt give half what the guys asking tbh but its his car and i feel sorry for whoever does buy it

This is the email i received back from him about an hour ago as i was emailing him from a different account. I emailed himn from that account and offered him 5K, he flatly refused, Now all of a sudden hes emailing me back LMAO

This is the first opportunity I have had to pick up my emails so apologies I did not get back to you before now.
I do not have any pictures specifically of the Engine Bay but could arrange these if you wanted them. Please let me know.
Following your email yesterday, I ran an HPI check on the car and this has come back all clear. They have said they will send me updated documentation tomorrow once they have cleared the V5 issue date with the DVLA.
One thing to note, people who have viewed the car already have noted that it does not have the sunroof. In the car's lifetime it has either been re-shelled using a standard 1.3L body or has had a roof line welded in. As noted above, the HPI check is clear, therefore, the car has not been declared a right-off. I wanted to note this before you viewed the car in case you were looking at buying the car to use as an absolute original example.

looked at the stamps but didnt have logbook to check as we knew we wernt gonna buy it from the minute we saw it anyway.
Car had been undersealed (looked more recently than bloke said) and car was originally moonstone by the looks of it as the boot was moonstone.
Just a shocker really was.
