you sure can!

Just give them a call.

If its cost that is the main factor, if you tell them youre thinking of leaving, then they may even continue your current subscription at a reduced cost!

Cheers, Maria - That's a big help! I'm really annoyed with them at the moment. I would put my life on the package I ordered being no more than £60 a month and my last bills in order have been.

£190 (A month taken in advanced)
£95 (Excluding calls)
£95 (Excluding calls)

I have XL Package and the sports, my internet and the phone. I got it as a bundle for £56 or there about, from memory. what it actually is, is more than I can afford, and I am sure this isn't what we agreed. Not to mention I don't get the movies, and we are talking near £100 a month.

I've been phoning up, but they are busy with the Amir Khan fight. I'll do as you say, and tell them I am leaving. I can get Sky all in for less than that price, and it includes the movies. I could be wrong, but where money is concerned I wouldn't have agreed to that price, no way so I doubt I am.

Benni.

good luck trying to downgrade or cancel. when your upgrading your priority but if your cancelling youll get the runaround on the phone for an hour at a time and emails through their online service will go unanswered even though they send an automated responce saying they have recieved your queary.
im trying to cancel mine and its looking like im going to have to put a stop on the DD at my bank as im getting no where. you get passed from department to department having to explain and identify yourself each time to then get put on hold and passed to the next department who then tells you its not their department that deals with this...and so on and so on...total cunts to deal with and theyre both the same as i have sky downstairs and virgin media upstairs.

That's the most annoying part. None of it is porn or anything extra, I live on Pornhub. If they are aukward on the phone I'll cancel it from the bank - LOL.

see they were really good with me when i tried to cancel.... basically they screwed up my landline package, and again were over charging me.. so i rang them up, (during the day on a weekday) got staright through.. explained everything, and i said i wasnt happy with the service, i want to give my notice to leave.... after about a 15 minute conversation i got an upgraded broadband speed and something else on my phoneline and they reduced the cost!

I am just getting my services instaled at my new house i get XL TV BB and land line for £10 a month for the full package..

I guess that's a bonus of working for Virgin but i would always suggest speaking to a UK agent over the phone as there are now a lot of Outsourced and Offshore call centers and they are shockingly bad!!!

Benni

VIP with V+ & HD is only £86

I have XL TV, XL Phone and 10mb BB for £50

I spoke to someone in Geordieland when I changed mine around. Also ended up with a £70 credit applied to my account, fook knows why.

If you get the right person they will be very helpful. I told them what I wanted and they found me a package deal to suit.

Exactly, Adrian. I am paying more than I should be if I had HD and V+ and I don't have any of this. Just the basic XL and sports. Hell, I don't even have the movies. It makes no sense. I have the exact same package as you Adrian, for a lot more money.

I dont have sports though.

When you call them, tell them what you have and ask them to save you money. Thats all I done when I had the VIP pack.

The Sports shouldn't be £45, LOL. When I phoned up I got a deal and it wasn't what I am paying. I will phone on Monday because I am not paying this next bill, no way.
