Ebay advice - what would you do??
Right, sold a set of blue s2 samcos on e-bay last month.
Got payment, sent etc....
Week later, get an e-mail saying the top hose was damaged so i agree for him to send the top hose back, and i will send out another top one, which i know is mint.
No e-mail for 2 weeks
E-mail today saying where is his replacement hose, politly point out i requested the old hose back first, and them i would send the other one.
Now he starts bleating that he can get a brand new set for £20 more than what he paid on e-bay. wants to send the whole set back, for full refund.
I told him i will send back just the top one as agreed
Am i in the right?? or not

You've done the right thing mate
you've agreed to replaced the damaged hose, and given him the benefit of the doubt. If he thinks hes found a better deal now, then tough shit for him. Hes being a cheeky twat.

your in the right. I see what he's doing though. He obviously wants to get his car running so is going to have to go out and buy a new set but unfortunately he bought second hand not new. If he'd bought a new set from he'd be entitled to a refund.

Just 'cos he couldn't be bothered to send the damaged one back and now wants an entire refund is his own fault
By rights you don't even have to supply another one, just being very kind to offer it
If he wants the replacement hose - fine, if not - tough luck
