You can put the 2wd Sapphire front hubs onto a 3 door - it was done by Ford dealers occasionally when people complained about the "twitchiness" of the standard 3-door set up after the Sapphire had been launched.
Keep hold of your 3-door hubs though - they are worth a lot as lots of people with 2wd Sapphires want them to improve turn-in and raise front roll centre on their cars.

I think you will need the matching TCAs as well i.e. the Sapphire ones for Sapphire hubs

DO NOT CHUCK THEM!

People will pay 3 figures for a pair ( and I don't mean £7.50 )

You'll easy get £100 for them, much better as is the 3 door roll bar.
But the 3 door hubs use a castle nut arrangement on the end of the tca, whereas the sapphy 2wd use a pinchbolt, so you need sapphy arms as well.
If you do want to chuck them I have a nice bin!!

If it's an early 3-door one it should have H13 on it near one of the ends of the bar

Me mates making me a new one, so I can adjust forward/rearward the wheel position/castor.
I actually have 3 door hubs and 3 door arb, but me dad nicked them for his xr4!!
The last set of 3 door hubs I bought cost me £130 delivered, but was some years ago 5+.

Your Sapphire one will give you a degree more than the H13 one anyway. I can't see why you'd want less than standard on a Sapphire, esp with 3-door hubs.
Ultimately the limit will be clearance at the front of the arch won't it?

The purpose of it is to be fully adjustable, someone else is setting up the actual suspension, once I have all the bits, reason I'm not after a std one is because it may be different diametre and shape to std.
