my advise would be not to do it unless your only planning on using the car for straight line speed.
i have an rs2k lump in my mk4 escort and the extra weight in the front compared to a zetec or cvh is really noticeable when cornering....
if you do still want to do it, use an rst clutch and a zetec flywheel but you will have to make up your own engine mount so be prepared for some welding and space is TIGHT. i can only stick one finger between my crank pulley and inner wing. fit box and engine together then put in car as one unit as you wont have the space otherwise.

no used 1.8 zetec flywheel and no lsd.
its the extra weight thats the thing though, car wheelspins a lot less since having the rs instead of zetec because of the extra weight.
am building a 2.3 though, so to be honest you may aswell fit that as a 2.3 build using rs head, cams and some other bits is meant to give the max torque of the 2l at something stupidly low like 2000rpm.
more info on the rs2000 website as i cant remember it all, ive put the engine off until the winter time.

yeah mines spaced down on the gearbox side by around 10mm, bonnet is on raisers AND ive had to shave my cam cover on the chain side as i kept breaking bonnet vents, shaved vent and so far so good!
if i didnt have RST bonnet i dont think id have had to shave the cam cover but just had the car resprayed and really dont want to have to pay for another bonnet to be painted!
underbonnet vent plates are a big NO NO though.

i this swap is common and cheap to do im doing it to my XR2I there are loads of cheap parts to get from other sites to help keep your costs down im getting the last few parts together for my build as we speak i ended up with two RS2000 engines because i gave one to a mate but he never used it so im sending the head and crank away from the first one for polish port skim and big valves with uprated springs AL DEVELOPMENTS do the whole head treatment for £400. im going to run it with a full fiesta turbo magnex system £82 from FIESTATURBO.COM carbon cold air induction has to be bought new i also just managed to get a stage 2 fiesta turbo gearbox with an uprated lsd for £250 and a full set of newish koni's for £150 so it can be done on a budget as for performance and weight the swap has loads of mixed opinions i personally know a bloke that runs a tuned RS2300 in a MK2 fiesta and it goes like stink no steering problems leaves a lot of the big power cossies for dust on the bends and keeps up fairly well on the straights for a distance and has a gps verified top speed of almost 150 mph.the bonnet issue on my fiesta will be sorted by grafting the bulges off a MK5 RS2000 bonnet into my XR2I one i got the spare RS2000 bonnet for £15 and to finish it off a set of morretes for £150 from ebay.im home at the end of the month mate i live in manchester so send me a message if you need any help i have quite a few contacts after all the searching i have had to do so will be glad to pass on anything that helps pictures will go up as soon as i get back off tour.
