As above, could some kind person please tell me how much oil is required for an oil change in a cosworth 2wd cheers

Don't know what oil you use m8,I have allways used valvoline in my cosworths,Dave allwood in marske (490860) sells it, saves you getting some mail order, I presume you know about dave, if not he is on the longbeck trading estate and has an alladins cave of cossie parts..

nope never heard of him ,but good to know
what valvoline did you use as i am looking for something a bit on the thick side,10/50 or15/50

valvoline do 15/40 but not 50 as far as i know only 5w50 (which i always used)

engine has a hard life behind it and have been advised to go thicker than that Rene,was lookind at the oilmans stuff in traders section. he recomends the Motul 300v15/50, or silkoline pro s 10/50 decisions decisions
you would think all the times this has been a topic ,the decision should be simple

well i always used valvoline 5w50 but i found my sense somewhere in the drawer and thought i should go a bit thicker so

just my opinium but have been using castrol rs 10w 60w lately as have a few of my mates
