recovery truck and traders insurance questions

Default recovery truck and traders insurance questions

right quick rundown im looking at starting up a small recovery buisness transit recovery truck car deliverys,breakdowns etc etc and im trying to get a traders policy so im covered for the truck and customers cars ive spoke to a company and the womens trying to tell me that i cant use my truck on the traders policy but im covered for customers cars etc?????? i need a traders policy as i will be a trader and i want it to cover the lot does anyone know of a company that will do this simple task for me as i cant imagine what shes saying is true

im with trade ex....im 36 been in the trade years..can drive tractors,performace stuff,landy's,trucks upto 7 1/2 ton.horse box's...rercovery truck not more than 4 cars including trailer..fully comp £930....my mrs is on the policy as well,she backed onto a road and got hit by a hgv doing 50mph..they payed out on both vehicles in less than 2 weeks without any problems at all..they are a good firm.........cheers woz

Would have thought you would need a specialist insurance. I have a courior franchise and cant do it through my traders but have to have a seperate courior policy,plus the public liab,employer liab,git policies etc

im with mma and im covered for the truck and whatever its carrying, im also covered for reward, some policys exclude hire and reward, on mine is the small print not including recovery vehicles, hence im covered for mine and my customers car, had a couple non fault claims over years never had problem.
