Today Under heavy load my evo gives a big cough/miss then goes with maybe another one but not constant. it has less than quarter of a tank of fuel and someone said maybe this is causing it. i know i could go and fill it up but just thought i would ask the question incase it could be a simple answer ie a sensor or somthing thats common to fail.

I had the same with the 4 I used to have. Strangely enough a good oil change helped it, and a bit more juice in the tank, but i never really got to the bottom of it as it never fully cleared
