The lpg transits lack torque, i would get a 135 t350 rwd if it was my choice, or a 125 t280 if you don't need such a big van. What are you using it for?

what do you want to use it for?

do you want, a van?, luton?, pick up?

for 3k you could get a 02 plate mwb easily if you shop around.

would pick a 125 over a 135. power delivery is so much better. also 125's are di rather than tdci so bits are cheaper.

if it was my money id be looking for a late smilie transit with leccy windows and TD100bhp motor and low miles, much much better and reliable than newer crap.

i worked at a ford specialists for 5 yr and all we sold was engines, boxes fuelpumps and flywheels! if RWD axles are very very weak IMO.

Sean.

depends on the size of van you want. The numbers on the side are gross vehicle weight and power output. So a T350 90 will be a 3.5t van with a 90 bhp engine. i like the 135 for it's power and torque but the none tdci engines are more thrashable. The 135 drives more like a petrol turbo in it's power delivery.

forgot to mention, second gear launches get the thing of the line damn quick! With the 135 you get the stronger 6 speed box and the DANA axle and a stronger dual mass flywheel which is always nice.
