Exclamation ~ Count the Cost ~

Hiya Mate,
Yep it will be possible ~ Main Problems/Issues are mating/joining them to your inlet, and mounting your Throttle~Cable and Throttle Positioning Sensor (make bracket)...
It will be much heavier on fuel, you ought to tell your insurance,
and will prolly be difficult to MOT...
I would speak to someone thta has actually done it unless
you know someone exceedingly well Clued~Up who
HAS Time and Will to help...
They are reliable, after all its only pumping fuel in,
There would be decent gains..
Hope that helps

i cant see why you would want the get rid of your perfictley good efi for a set of carbs??

why will you need to mount the tps? the fuel pump will need changing/regulating right down as carbs use 4-5 psi fuel pressure compaired to efi pressure of 47 ish psi.

its going to be hard for you to set the carbs up to get them to work with your cat for the mot

it will work with the cams but IMO better off fitting throttle bodys

no its just the supplied kit its quite easy to do,u can run all the std management only thing i done is elongated the crank sensor and it gave my a few degree adv ign timing, its a good conv and idles a treat + they used the zzr kawazaki 1100 carbs which run 38mm chokes which is more like 45 webbers!
look on primas website and there on there-must say there inlet manifold is a work of art!

All easy to do, but pointless.
You will lose a lot of driveability over fuel injection of any sort.
I would go tb's if anything.
You would be very unlikely to pass mot emissions even with cat, that's if carbs didn't kill it first.
Loads of your cars running around with tb's and most with different ecu.

not true my clio with the std inj was lumpy (cams)even with a correct map,so wen i bolted the carbs on it ran much smoother, the hydro carbons were lower + it was on a phase 1 (j reg) so for emissions it could be as high as 2.5%co and i see a 25 hp,45lbft gain from a n/a engine which is not bad for 900quid drove perfectly on road or track slow or fast and pulled like fuck up to 8250rpm..
i looked in to inj tbs but you are looking at 1500quid upwards

Then you should of got a decent mapping job to start with, obviously yours wasn't.
There are a few and it is a few occasions where carbs are better, but it certainly wouldn't be on emissions.
Your power increase again shows either how poor your map was or how restrictive the std injection is, which I find hard to beleive it could be that bad, but going to find out.
