Chris Knott Insurance what a joke
After seeing there advert on the insurance section i decided to give them a call to quote me on the Escort Cosworth on a classic, the women said they wouldn't insure it as it is not a classic, i must say im most disappointed in there attitude to provide me with the level of service that i deserved, i asked to speak to Tim to express my disapointment after reading that they could probably save me money on my renewal.
Utterly disappointed so dont bother ringing them if you have a so called classic.

I have just had two good quotes from Chris Knott and started both with them.
Third car on the horizon on which they will mirror my full no claims - although they did admit that M5's were not their thing and hence the quote was a bit higher than other when compared with full NCB.
so Chris Knott has been good for me - but my cars are not classics but newer high performance cars.
as usual with insurance different companies have preferred risks.
I found it cheaper to insure my cossies including a 3dr as normal value cars - they still have to pay 'market value' so unless you got a concourse car or want an exact agreed value maybe thats a better option.

Agree didnt think an escos was a 'classic' car either really tbh, obviously some places will do it thou. Even a saph is boderline a classic but i know you deff can on a saph as ive had quotes in the past.
But other than the way she spoke to u, how is them not classing or covering an escos a joke?! All companys work differently some wont even cover ppl on cars like cossie's etc or charge silly money!
