i was wondering because i was just watchin an ETCC video and the commentatr mentioned something about an ice box and water suit - the likes of which asthronauts wear.

Do you know how the system worked? Where there pumps in the ice box? I haven't seen one of the suits before.

not sure how it works but they talk about it, on the spa 24 hr video with luwig showing the suit,

the driver plugs into the box when he drives the car and the ice keeps them cool,

he said one box last three hours of cooling,

invented by nassa for space use,

eggenburer was the top team and had a massive budget so got all the new toys when they where available.

yes but most of the texaco races where 500 kilomiters, and he did bathurst and spa 24 hr,

if you get the 88 etcc video the two part ones it has all the races on there, and most where in hot countrys like spain ect in the summer, so they needed these suits,
