yea seen them on ebay. zvh bottom ends look good for the price but never dealt wiv them. let me kno how ya get on!

yes there stage 2 zetec bottom end looks good. I was going to build one myself the same spec but would rather buy one already built

yea i looked at building 1. but wen pricing it up came out more expensive for the spec as there stage 2 already built by them. might not be as good as they make out!

anyone want to buy a zetec bottom end already assembled should speak to the best in the business (now that he is open again) ian howell at area six motorsport , custom forged pistons , rods etc for about Ł2000 and as anyone will tell you these bottom ends can do 500+bhp with the right head , inlet , exhaust manifold and turbo,
i still use my first bottom end that was 300bhp now its 522bhp.

did have a orion years ago with a 1900 engine in that they had supossed to have done went very well

 

lol ian howell engines are a hobby/ maybe now a parttime business and there nothing wrong with them , but at least his engine have proved a number record beating tasks in the fwd ford scene

ian has proven his stuff and reputation and his websites nice.

 

i know you wasnt on about ian , i was just saying just because its someones hobby doesnt mean they dont know what they are doing , but to be fare i think you at least need a good repution and as soon as you hear someones bad views it should start alarm bells ringing.

We can do you a good price if you are after the bottom, we are a tunign company by trade (roling road etc the works) and our feedback from other members speaks for itself

What spec are you after? I have a recon 2.0 blacktop here that we used for our latest TRC magazine article and iis now available tor rebuild for a forged engine....

Fisrt of all this is a report post from my situation with this company...

I got connection with Mr. Chris from Powerconversions in dezember 2009, and we got a very big talk about i sending my engine to uptrate it in all good stuff an ERST should have!...

it´s is a MFI 1.6...

to put EFI, stage2 gearbox, flywheel, clutch, forged pistons acrilic, everthing... pouder couted, all things in perfect shape...

I ask someone here, if got connection with this company, plz reply to me by pm

Moore than 1 mouth i cannot have contact with them! mail, telephone, messages, all connections i tried moore that 20 times per day!

At this point i cannot do anything, just geting a plane and go there!

Need to say that in the time we got a talk, it was a person with alot of connections and deals in this area, as he told me sould be very easy to do this to the engine... nice person, no problem in doing the uptrated...

But, here i´am with no aswer no engine, no manifold, no turbo... no contact, no pictures from his work... at this time i´m loosing again my head.

Does someone live near or have a direct contact with the person in charged? i do recieved a mail from Chris, 3 weeks ago, aking for my contact, but all the contacts he have, haven´t got to me yet! can that be possibel? i cannot understand...

what´s the problem of saying we won´t do this work!!! i will send it to other place!

Hi! i am one victim of this company..10 months ago i had send 2.100euros for stage 2 2.1zvh engine and for a custom head!! until 22th december everything was going well by emails and phone calls and some photos..after 22th december nothing..at this time i got nothing,my rst is without engine about 8 months just for waiting the new engine..i also have the receipts from paypal but i have trouble with paypal cause is long time ago they said and some bull..ts..anyway we have to do something to these guys in this company www.powerconversions.co.uk i'm so angry with them and with myself cause i trusted them..i was fool to send the money..any other victim???

Victor, i feel for you mate. But why did you spend that amount of money with a company that nobody has heard of/used before?

Keep ringing them, emaling etc...... Dont give up! Maybe ring trading standards here in the U.K and tell them your story and provide evidence, like bank statements and emails.

you should both chip in and send a debt collector in to get your money back. give him a small back hander to give this cunt a slap, or even better come over and both knock on his door

I got the engine on Sunday at 2 o´clock in the morning!!!

Chris haven´t got time to go and meet me, so I have got a contact from a guy that had permition to open us the door!

The rest of the ppl that have problems PM me plz for moore updates


I think is time to make a thread with the companies that we cannot TRUST, and the experience we got!!! and should be a STICKY post

many ppl do want to spent and do something for real! and at this point need to understand, that they are not all good stories

To tell you too, i got there 12 days, and i spent at least 200Ł per day! so make the math if someone outside England go there! i could have at least a new std engine!

ps: His home adress is false, and the owner are processing him too!

Thx for all the help i got! at this point i´ve been LUCKY! it was the worst 13 days off my life! Ive grow up, and got many years in my back of experience!

I hope this is an example to everybody... at this point Jamsport are taking care of my engine!
